Emerald Sanctuary BellyDance Retreat near Grand Coulee Dam
I am pleased to announce Emerald Sanctuary BellyDance Retreat will be held Aug 25-27 near the Grand Coulee Dam in Washington State. This is a weekend of BellyDancing & Camping & swimming & friends & Lots of Fun! There will be 9 bellydance workshops and a Hafla Saturday night. All of the talented instructors have different backgrounds in Middle Eastern Dance and I am pleased we can come together to share what we know and learn from each other. Dance is like a gift which yearns to be shared. Workshops are designed for all levels of dancers from beginner to seasoned vet.... 'And all who wish are invited to attend Emerald Sanctuary will donate 1/3 of the profits from the retreat to organizations who are working to preserve and enhance wetlands within Washington State. ABOUT HADIA: She is in great demand internationally as a performer, master instructor and choreographer. Hadia has performed and instructed throughout the world and has an innate ability to weave the subtle nuances and textures of oriental music into movement. Her ingenious teaching skills draw upon her multi-faceted 35-year career as an artist and her 15 years as a registered practitioner and instructor of message/manual therapy. She skilfully applies her extensive knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology to create thorough, clear and disciplined breakdowns of all techniques. Her understanding of the peoples and cultures of the Middle East is reflected in her attentive application to oriental rhythms and encouragement of artistic expression. She has a fullness and depth to her teaching that embodies her deep love and respect for our art form as it challenges, inspires and accommodates all levels of students - novice to professional.

accompany them. Then unwind with Yoga, a long walk through the
