NWBD: Looking for roommates!

Monday, December 29th, 2008

Hi friends,
Our beautiful house community is looking for new roommates
starting Feb 1, 2009. It would be great to have like-minded
people in the house: dancers, musicians, artists, yogis,
activists, community builders!

The house is a 5 bedroom huge beautiful craftsman in
Wallingford near Gas Works Park and the Essential bakery.

It has big windows, great light and a view of lake union, a
big garden, hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace,
dishwasher, new washer and dryer, 2 baths, a huge dry basement,
LOTS of storage, good vibes, a large kitchen, room to dance,
room for dancing, creating and fixing stuff, a playhouse in
the backyard, a deck and two balconies.

Our largest room (the master bed room) and our smallest least
expensive room are both for rent.  These rooms could be for two
people, one person needing lots of space…ie a bedroom and an
office, or perhaps even a couple.

About us:

Helene
I am a dancer/dance ethnologist.  I travel regularly all over the
world to teach a perform.  When I’m in Seattle I do a lot of
yoga, social dancing and engage in community building.  I love
to cook and entertain.  I thrive in a warm household with a
feeling of community and mutual support.  I’m Souren’s mom.

Carla
I do various forms of bodywork and therapy, practice Chi Kng
regularly, love to dance and am studying North Indian classical
singing.  I enjoy living with friendly, responsible, team oriented
folks.

Souren
I am a very laid back person, hard to offend and hard to hate.
My mother saw to it that I traveled the world and saw many
cultures. But now I am a hardcore geek….minus the social
ineptness. I like talking about most anything, quantum
mechanics and philosophy, politics, psychology, computer
games, art etc….. I have  a tendency to stay up late,
partially because I am cook who works closing shifts but
also because I’m a teenager and that’s what I do. If you
happen to have computer problems I can probably fix them,
so that’s a plus as well.

Who is interested in joining our community????

Please feel free to forward this to your friends!

Helene, Carla and Souren
