HOT does it again…Presenting Aziza and Delilah, both in one
night…!!!
Born in Portland, Oregon Aziza had studied with some of the
greatest teachers in the northwest, such as Delilah, and went
ahead to build her wonderful reputation and became the award
winning dancer, world renowned teacher, and the class act she is

As for our own Delilah, while she’s out there helping built the
dance community with her vision, teachings and women empowerment,
somehow she found the time to keep up her performance career
alive and to graciously give us some of the most memorable

Background of the Teacher:
 
Anu hails from India and has been living in the United States
since 2002 (in Seattle area since 2005). She is an exponent of
Bharatnatyam. Anu is also a professional Indian modern dance
exponent. She has been training and performing both these art
forms professionally for about 15 years.

AZIZA
Before launching an international career, Aziza (”dear to the
heart” in Arabic) rose to become one of the most cherished belly
dance artists of the Northwest. Frequently performing with MB
Orchestra, she captivated loyal fans with her unaffected
grace, unforgettable smile, awesome skill, and seemingly
effortless ability to simply become the music. This show is a
rare and exciting reunion of Aziza with her Seattle musicians,
and an opportunity to experience the best of what

MB ORCHESTRA
Come ready to get up and groove, because this show includes an
old school Arabic dance party with the Northwest’s premiere
longstanding Middle Eastern dance band. Internationally
renowned oud player Maurice Sadak Rouman, who has been composing
and performing ancient Egyptian “Pharoanic” music for more than
40 years, founded MB Orchestra in the early 70s with his two
sons, Bahaa and George, and son-in-law, Shiham. Because they
couldn’t break up (it’s family), they’ve been together

ELISA GAMAL
An expert show woman, award-winning belly dance artist, sought
after instructor, and board member and vice president of Middle
East Arts International. In 1994, MB Orchestra picked Elisa out
of a student show, inviting her to become one of their house
dancers, after which she performed with them every month for
over a decade.

Aziza at MedFest! Aziza is the featured instructor and performer
at the 22nd Annual Mediterranean Fantasy Festival – the reason
this whole weekend is happening! She is scheduled to perform on
the outdoor stage at approximately 3:24pm on Saturday the 18th.

sure to be there by 3:00pm.
